What are the Requirements for Earning an Master’s in Healthcare Administration?
Programs require about 45 units of coursework prior to awarding of a degree. Courses include Health Care Systems, Ethical and Legal Issues, the Economies of Health Care and Health Care Policy, Advanced Seminar, Quality Management and Performance: Improvement in Evidence Based Healthcare, Human Resources Management, and Introduction to accounting. Admissions requirements include a bachelor’s degree with course work in accounting, economics, and statistics, a minimum GPA, resume, letters of recommendation GMAT or GRE, and interview. Graduates work throughout the administrative field in a variety of healthcare settings.
